Visit to Ghana

News!! Follow our trip to Ghana here:

This special project began in our school 5 years ago, when two of our teachers, Margo Mhic Domhnaill and Geraldine Connors, traveled to Ghana and established a link with Notre Dame Secondary School in Sunyani Ghana.

In 2009, Seamount College welcomed Augustine Akwowuki and Naomi Gardor Tanawa, two teachers from Notre Dame Senior High School, who traveled to Kinvara and taught at Seamount for two weeks.

The next phase of the project is the upcoming visit by five of our fifth-year and transition year students to Ghana for immersion at our sister school for a week. The students will also have the opportunity to visit projects supported by IrishAid.

This wonderful opportunity has grown from our Development Education programme, which is grant-aided by WorldWise.
